Phai, the navigation helper of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
When I started to play the game and saw her, I immediately wanted to paint her, just because I like her style.
I'm not sure if she does not have arms, but in the game you can never see them, so I guess she really doesn't have any ^^

It's quite a rough painting I finished in less than three hours (I think I never finished a painting faster than this one ^^), still I hope you like it!

Done in Photoshop CS2 and Corel painter with the great help of my Wacom Intuos tablet and my Wii + the game itself. For the pose and painting no refs used.
The clothes are not similar to the ones she really wears in the game, I just combined the existing costume with some of my own ideas ^^

Hope you like this one, I'd be happy to see many comments on this painting.

GAH! She looks so mysterious and enchanting! I must say, for a helper I prefer Navi, but she's not as mysterious and strange as Phai is. I love it, and I love the game, apart from the fact me and my sister are utterly stuck on the Silent Realms...*shudder*

To be honest, I prefer her uch more than every other helper, because she did not always disturb me while playing. I remember stupid Navi always telling me to do this and that. - And this ugly sound of annoying Taya, aaaahhh ^^

By the way, I think she really doesn't have arms. When she's dancing, you can see under her cape a little - no arms. I guess that since she's a sword spirit, her humanoid manifestation wouldn't necessarily have arms.
